Currently c2 works well with 6502+variants and 6809. Experimental support for Z80 exist and 68000 is under development.
c2 is an assembler wrapper on top of a C++ compiler. It's highly configurable and architecture independent in the sense that all assembly pseudo opcodes are built with text macros. Macro files are included with the standard C pre-processor.
Much of the syntax should be familiar to anyone with Assembly, C/C++, Java, JS or C# experience.
