The quickness of the arms from the round off to the back handspring is important for success in the Yurchenko vault. Universal Gymnasts head coach Dave Anthony gives us a drill that gives that feel for the arm throw and the connection to the vault table. Dave explains the drill and uses three of our Region 5 athletes Bailee Norris (Flytz), Macy Nihart (Capitol City) and Layla Bobek (Universal Gymmasts) to demonstrate the drill and break it down to show what you want to see as well as what you don't want to see. #gymnasticstraining #gymnasticsdrills #trainingthursday
