Hastings Tram Museum || So Much Railway History In One Place || You Need To See This Place!!

Today we visit the Hastings Tram Mini Museum situated at Beside the beaten tracks in Robertsbridge, East Sussex. Situated at the museum is Tram cars No.48 & No.56 which originally served the old tramways of Hastings in the 1900's. Also situated at the museum is a miniature railway serviced by a metropolitan battery locomotive as well as a diesel shunter. They have 9 gauges of model railways on show from G scale to z gauge.
There is also a 1960s British Railways MK 1 buffet coach on site which has been loving restored and covered into the Whistlestop Cafe. The site is free to access and the museum is open Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays with the model railways operating on Sundays. The Cafe is open all week and offer a wide range from all day breakfasts to Sunday roasts.

This place has so much railway history situated in the site and does not seem to get the recognition as some of the other tramways so if your in the area please do pop in and have a walk around this amazing site!
