The Austrian jazz and rock musician trained as a music dealer and later studied music. He was a member of the group "Acid", which became famous in Austria after taking part in the program "Show-Chance" in 1972.
Spotlight was a music program for young people that was broadcast by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) between 1968 and 1978. It was the equivalent of Beat Club or Musikladen in Germany.
