Facit Builds | E6: Topping out, Membrane, Windows Install & First Fix

In Episode 6 of our Facit Builds series, we’re back on site as the Walton project reaches a major milestone: topping out.

We rejoin Bruce Bell and Oliver Thomas as they guide us through the completion of the Facit Chassis assembly and the transformation of the structure into a fully weatherproof shell. With the waterproofing membrane in place, windows and roofing installed, the building is now a sealed, protected structure ready for the next stages of work.
For the first time, we walk you through the entire interior, giving you a look at the layout and the impressive, light-filled spaces taking shape inside. Bruce and Oliver explain the technical details of the process, including fitting our Velfac windows, installing the membrane system, integrating MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) elements in the first fix, adding insulation, and completing the roof with solar panel installation.
