Today I’m playing with a set of Paul Rubens Soft Pastels to create a journal cover for my 6x6 disc bound kraft paper collage journal. This is a 48 color set of gorgeous, rich colors and is very reasonably priced for the beginner. I’m not very experienced in the use of pastels but I do love to play with them in my mixed media art. Today I’m using them with water and hand carved stamps to create a beautiful background paper.
