One evening, during her ritual, she lit a lamp and noticed how its light filled the room. That became her answer.

On the day of the test, she gathered some cotton, oil, a small lamp, and a matchbox with help from her friends. In front of everyone, she lit the lamp, and its light spread across the entire room. She proved her intelligence not with quantity, but with quality of thought. The room was filled—not with objects, but with illumination. Her answer amazed everyone, and she won the challenge.

This brilliant child later became Ahilyabai Holkar—an iconic ruler, a fierce warrior, a devout Shiva devotee, and a reformer. She promoted widow remarriage, encouraged girls' education, even built a women’s army, and ruled her kingdom with wisdom and compassion, earning immense love from her people.

The moral of the story is: Intelligence lies in thinking beyond the obvious. True wisdom doesn’t need wealth; it needs clarity, creativity, and courage.
