Never thought I'd ever experience what happened at the duct. So I didn't fully secure my rod holder. I left it to walk down to the bend of the canal. I got hit and really didn't think it was a bite. I thought it was the grass and the current. Well it took off down into the canal. One of the guys did try to save it since I was too far down. The gentleman in the video was the one who actually help me get the pole and the fish back. We then discovered the line he had in actually, got caught with my line. Thats how he was able to reel in my line that still had the striper on. I wish I would've got the whole thing on video.
