On the 24th of December 2024, the first BYD eBus BD11s entered service. The BD11 is an electric double deck bus designed for use in London. It's now been one year since the first BD11 entered service on the 24th In just one year, the number of routes using BD11s increased from 0 to over 15. Almost 250 BD11s are now in use across London across five different operators.

As of December 2025, BYD BD11s operate on routes 31, 34, 101, 129, 141, 188, 206, 210, 292, 320, 321, 368, 466, 473, SL1, SL4, SL5 and W8. BD11s are expected to enter service on over 15 additional routes throughout 2026. Including the 18, 29, 60, 88, 90, 96, 98, 229, 240, 405, 412, 428, 492, SL2, SL7, W7 and more.
