The biggest thanks to @lunneth_patterns for selecting me for the pattern test, it was such a nice way to begin my sewing journey!
For this project I had a few things in mind, the first was I wanted to use materials I already had on hand. This means that this corset is made of a thrifted sheet, an old pillow case and a thrifted curtain valance!
The next was I wanted to hand stitch it. Partly because I'm scared of my sewing machine but also because I feel like to do something with your hands when your first learning helps you get a better idea of the true process. It forces you to take your time. And that it did. Around 40 hours of my time to be more exact 🙃
