Yorkshire Buses (nothing to do with the former Yorkshire Woollen District Transport Co. Ltd) started operating the 212 in January 2025 when Arriva Yorkshire renounced its own operation of the route after almost killing off the 212 itself.
Yorkshire Buses now runs the service on an hourly basis seven days a week (given the odd cancellation) using what must be described as a motley collection of ‘deckers and saloons. The company seems to acquire and borrow buses on a regular bass, so there should be more to come on this journey.
