Here is a video of my early 1960's Suffolk Iron Foundry engine driving a 1920's compressor.
I have just finished building this set, the engine was acquired for a tenner froma mower repair centre and was soon running again. After being re painted and both engine and compressor mounted on a wooden frame; it is ready to work or rally.
The engine is a 75G14 type 14a and is a 75cc four stroke side valve petrol engine with a single cylinder. It produces 1hp at 3000rpm and is made from cast iron with some alloy parts. This engine is quite worn and smokey, but still runs well enough.
I hope you enjoy the video and I welcome your comments.
