Manifested creation must of necessity be constituted of polarities. Light must be distinguishable from darkness, for without the ability to distinguish one from the other, we could not perceive anything at all. No one can write with a black chalk on a blackboard, or with a white chalk on a whiteboard.

The Dawn of Light in the purified human soul must of necessity be accompanied by the increased activity of shadowy, external forces. This is unavoidable. But so is the arrival of the Inner Dawn.

This lecture is concerned with the downward path of separation from the One Indivisible Spirit, a path accompanied by fragmentation, by contradictions and by suffering. But when the deepest darkness will have enveloped the Earth, the upward path of a free and conscious ascent to Unity is opened for all who are willing to climb without lies and deceit.

This lecture and message concludes with the interpenetration of our divine and human natures (downward and upward pointing triangles). That is the Inner Dawn of Light, Love, Forgiveness, Wisdom, Peace, Joy and Truth within the human heart. That inner dawn in turn triggers an Outer Dawn in which even stones declare the Holy Wholeness of Creation.

The Blue Lotus and the Black Bee are universal symbols denoting the indivisible oneness of the Human (= the Black Bee) and the Divine (= the Blue Lotus).

The symbols of the Lotus and the Bee are widespread in India (Bengali chants) where the worship of the Goddess Khali (Kali) -- the One who subdues evil and ignorance -- is accompanied by intimate words and music:

The black bee of my mind is drawn into sheer delight
To the blue lotus flower of Mother Syama's feet,
The blue flower of the feet of Kali.
