MINI ZOО А. М. GUDI BALAVAN, CHITRADURGA
Adumalleshwara Mini Zoo at Chitradurga was established on 12-04-1987 and its total area is
8.5 Ha In survey no. 26 of Chitradurga village. Chitradurga district is centrally located in
the state of Karnataka. Lakhs of people visit the famous Chitradurga Fort throughout the
year. It is just adjoining to Adumalleshwara Zoo. Hence the Zoo draws lot of importance
along with other places of interest in the district.
Zoo remains open for public from: 9:30AM to 5:30PM. Zoo and Children's Park is a very
much sought after picnic spot especially for local people, students and tourists. Majority of
people from other districts, states and Countries who visits Chitradurga Fort also visit the
Zoo.
Approximately more than 1.00 Lakh visitors visit this zoo annually.
All the Zoos coming under the Zoo Authority of Karnataka is provided with basic facilities
such as Playing Equipments for kids, Pergolas, Drinking Water, Toilets, Vehicle Parking
Stand, Canteen etc.,
