Steelers hired Mike McCarthy as new head coach and the overwhelming feedback has been mostly negative. Art Rooney II, Omar Khan and the entire Steelers front office had a great opportunity to turn the Pittsburgh Steelers around, to go after someone new and young. Instead, they opted to go with a copy of Mike Tomlin and are just settled with staying in mediocrity. This was the most lazy, safe, and complacent hire possible. Mike McCarthy won't give the Steelers any further success and is nothing but a low ceiling hire. Art Rooney II just gave Steelers Nation the Middle Finger.
