“Twenty years after the end of the Great War, the former threat at the center of Europe emerged once again to conquer the continent. Austria and Czechoslovakia had just been consumed by the Nazis and the eyes of the world set on Poland. The German Third Reich commenced the march over the neighbouring country; the Second War has began. Even worst, the Polish military defenses are rapidly faltering which will lead to the country’s demise soon enough. Among an invading platoon of the Heer (Army branch of the Wehrmacht - the armed forces of the Third Reich), we see a middle-aged man, Boeckmann - an unteroffizier (sergeant) of his squad, along with the boys and three other squads, showing us on how they assault enemy positions deep across the woods.”
