Here is another track of Fanga, with ballet rather than traditional dunduns. It's a bit slower too, but it doesn't matter because you can adjust the tempo incrementally by going to settings, playback speed, and custom (up top).
This arrangement includes two djembe parts, a bell, and ballet dunduns. Fanga is a popular rhythm originally from Liberia, West Africa, and popularized throughout the world by Nigerian drummer Babatunde Olatunji
You can learn the parts included here from master drummer Fara Tolno's Rhythm Reference Project (http://www.rhythmreference.com/) and Djembe Guru (https://www.djembeguru.com). If you like what I'm doing, you'll love what he's doing!
That being said, you can use other parts learned elsewhere. There are different ways to arrange Fanga.
I did this track and many more in response to the social isolation related to COVID-19. I had no one to drum with, and I figured others were in the same situation. You’ll find lots of other practice tracks on my YouTube channel.
Enjoy!
