I originally went to Central City Kentucky to visit the grave of Phil Everly from the Everly Brothers, along with the music and motorsports museum located a short distance from Rose Hill Cemetery where Phil is buried. When I got to downtown Central City, though, I was amazed to see a brand new area called Festival Square devoted to the Everly Brothers and John Prine. It's simply beautiful and was just completed, and dedicated this past June 2024. So I don't believe there are to many videos of this new area out there on YT yet. The music museum just got a load of John Prine memorabilia in and will be displaying all of it soon. So, by the time you visit there will be new things to see. This visit I made on Monday 9/16/24 was so well worth it!! I would encourage anyone who loved the Everly Brothers and John Prine to come and visit!! I know this video is long but there was so much to see! The motorsports section of the museum was even fun with a display of about 150 cars. The workers even encourage you to sit inside any of the vehicles and they'll even take your picture for you! Such a wonderful staff of people here!
