In this video tutorial I show how to use a parting tool for woodturning. This is part 3 in the video series on how to use basic woodturning tools. This time we are working on setting the depth on the ends of our project. I show how to do two different cuts with a parting tool on a piece of maple that I am making into a foot massager. This will help us know how far to turn the taper of our project for next time. I wish you well in mastering this woodturning tool on your wood lathe.
