We’re getting closer to the end of the year, and the penultimate night at the Madison Square Garden is present in a pretty great stereo audience tape, as well as an alternate source which patches up the cut on ‘The Fool On The Hill’, and an incomplete audience video (it cuts out after 'Coming Up') which is in decent quality. A better quality copy of the video exists, but doesn't seem to circulate in fulI, only 'Ebony and Ivory' from this show has been uploaded and it's in lossy quality thanks to Youtube compression (and being a 16-year-old upload, that only makes it worse), the channel who uploaded it seems to be inactive since 2010, so I think we're fine including it here.

It’s the third night at the Garden, and Paul’s vocal deterioration is more evident than ever, he’s having a generally harder time than before, starting to struggle with the “easier” songs as well (‘We Got Married’ and ‘The Long And Winding Road’ are good examples of that), ‘Maybe I’m Amazed’ is the roughest version up to this point, and even 'Let It Be' is quite unstable. He does try his best of course, with a shockingly decent and gutsy ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’. Despite the frontman’s shortcomings, the band still tries their best to put on a great show, with some fantastic instrumental performances and a very electric mood (in part thanks to the awesome atmosphere), with a pretty fantastic extended duel during ‘Sgt. Pepper’s, with Paul and Robbie truly going off, Chris' drumming is also quite great throughout. There's also as a pretty fun ‘Twenty Flight Rock’, Robbie tries out an even crazier rendition of the 'Ain't That A Shame' solo tonight, a gorgeous solo to 'Let It Be', and 'The End' features yet another fantastic outro with some incredible guitars from everybody. A rare sloppy performance of ‘Coming Up’ is heard though, with Paul coming in late to TWO different verses. The audience tonight is pretty fantastic, singing, clapping, and even dancing along to most of the set, making for a pretty superb concert atmosphere and a fun experience overall.
