My oh my. I am at my first hockey game! could I resist? NO! I decided to try to inflate a chinese balloon (40" I believe), to see if I could do it by the time the second break before the third period was ended. The nipple was really giving me trouble!! It didn't happen. The REAL bummer, is that I filmed (or thought I had) a b2p after the game that was so LOUD!!! Turned out we had not filmed it!!! That is only the beginning of my torment. This was after I had accidentally popped another balloon during the game that was so loud the entire audience at Pepsi stadium went SILENT. Pepsi stadium was almost to 75% capacity. We were not filming. However, the game was being filmed for television so I am going to try to get it. I know that pop will be on there, perhaps even reactions from anyone being filmed at the time. It was truly a strange moment doing a b2p with thousands of people reacting. Woe. It was intense for me, and very LOUD. It was totally unintentional but one of those things (knowing balloons) that certainly is always a possibility! ;-). My intention was to have fun blowing them up, and once the game was over to do a b2p to experience the acoustics of the huge stadium.

I do these 'experiments' for many reasons. Most of the time it is pretty mellow even light-hearted. The fact that there were so many people, and the fact that the place had major amplification made this a very unique scenario. There were plenty of nonstop LOUD noises as you can hear in the video.

I am not engaging the sexual aspect of my balloon fetish EVER in situations such as this. Which might confuse some of the more 'linear' thinking looners.

Human beings often do not connect even though you might be sitting right next to one another at a sporting event for example, or in an elevator. I am that person who will look you in the eye and say hello. In this case I blow up a balloon. I have sparked many conversations and interactions with strangers through the balloons. Depending on the situation it can get really interesting!

After the event on the way home, we were discussing the situation, and I thought about all the different implications. I thought about people who live in war zones and wondered if a balloon pop would make them jump or not. This led me to wonder about how vets might react to balloons popping or fireworks for that matter.

I ponder many things after I do a public scenario.

And no, I will not be doing this in an airport anytime soon.
