So finally we arrive at Monaco for the start of the 1966 Formula 1 season. All of the preseason events, the preparation have led to this point where our racing driver Richie Axelson will begin the quest to be World Champion. 1966's theme was "Back to Power" for Formula 1, as every team tried to best utilize the new engine rules. Nearly every car on the grid was a new chassis and engine combination and as such attrition was high. Monaco as ever demands precision racing and will be a true test for the new machinery. So how will Richie fair in the first point paying racing of 1966?
