In this video I will explain the changes that will be taking place for buyers in the real estate market.
A quick synopsis: Starting August 17th, buyers who wish to see a property or put an offer on a property, will need a signed contract with a real estate before doing so. Even though this is common practice in many states, it is not required in Massachusetts. Included in this signed contract is an agreement of compensation. Sellers may choose to pay the buyer's agent (which has been common practice in the past) OR choose NOT to pay the buyer's agent.
We'll talk about some scenarios and how you, as the buyer, can navigate this big change in how commissions will now be structured. Any questions? Let's talk.
