In this video, I fly a Beechcraft Baron G58 from an airfield located east of the island of Saba. The area looks partly restricted or blurred in the flight simulator, which makes the start even more interesting. From there, I head toward Saba, an island known for having the shortest commercial runway in the world.
During the flight, I talk about the challenges of landing on Saba, the special conditions of the island, and a few details about the Baron G58. My first landing attempt goes wrong because I approach too high and too fast, but on the second try I finally manage to land safely on the tiny runway.
This video shows the full trip, the difficult approach, and how I eventually succeed in landing on one of the most challenging airports in the world. Enjoy the flight!
