Celebrating our success with the White Mountain Apache Tribe

Last week, I had the deep honor of joining the White Mountain Apache Tribe on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation to celebrate a new law I passed ensuring clean drinking water for the entire community.
We delivered this long-awaited win for the Tribe by working side-by-side with leaders like Chairman Kasey Velasquez and focusing on finding real solutions. I was glad to see the impact of this critical, commonsense law firsthand on the reservation and hear from members of the Tribe about what a difference it will soon make in their day-to-day lives.
Arizonans know that I’m laser-focused on achieving real results for the communities I’m so deeply honored to serve – not scoring political points. I’m so proud that we were able to cut through the petty partisan politics and earn broad support for a piece of legislation that will actually improve people’s lives.
On behalf of Arizonans like you and your loved ones, I’ll keep at it.
