We have climbed an ice/ mixed alpine route in Slovenia. The route is called Teranova and it is located in Kamnik and Savinja alps on north face of the Dolgi Hrbet.This is the easiest winter alpine route on the whole wall and, when well covered with snow and ice, is a great place to start your experience in alpine climbing.
The route ends half way up the north face and can be combined with several other routes to finish the whole wall.
Alpine climbing has a long history in Slovenia and you can find something for yourself no matter what your skill/expertise level is.
Approach takes 1h from Zgornje Jezersko and the route follows an obvious left turning corner which ends up in a beautiful amphitheatre.
