It begins here. My journey to bring the Any% time down as low as I possibly can.
This run was turning out decent, if it hadn't been for me screwing up everything in the end. The RNG double jumping is annoying as heck, and it just so happens that I got the worst luck on the last DJ, and then it just fell apart afterwards.
There's so many tricks in this game that I have to pull off to get the sub 1 hour run. Nearly all of them were executed, but seeing that I was on a good pace, I left out doing the gate clip in the 1st Downtown Maze level. Next time I will add that trick in, which should save 15 more seconds.
I'm not sure how brutal this game will be for the other speedrunners, but I wish them luck. This game is so fun to speedrun!
Note: There may need to be another retime, since the split shouldn't end as I skip the credits, but instead the runtime stops once you press A on the final completion screen. We'll see if the autosplitter gets an update in order to pinpoint to final split.
