Since 1973, BNP Paribas has supported the ball kids at @rolandgarros and, since 2000, has been involved in their selection process across France.
6.000 young people apply each year, and 300 of them are selected to become ball kids at France’s most prestigious tennis tournament.
The selection process considers not only physical abilities, but also the ability to live and work together, emphasising values such as discipline, emotional control, and team spirit.
To showcase this historic support, BNP Paribas has created a fictionalised advertising campaign. The story follows a teenager in love who decides to become a ball kid to win the heart of his crush. Through persistence and training during the selection stages, he ultimately makes it onto the team and discovers a true passion for tennis.
