The 4th Episode in our series of foodie reviews on some of the best street food in the world.
The village markets are still an essential part of everyday life in Bali but the government has tried to modernise the markets building this ultra modern, multi-story, air conditioned market complex in the middle of the city.
You can buy pretty much everything you need at the markets, open from around 3am every morning and surprisingly without the smell often encountered at large traditional markets around the world.
Complete with wash basins, running water, tiled and cleanable surfaces it is a pleasant change from some of the less structured markets and certainly has some of the best prices you will find locally.
This was filmed as part of the Destination Bali series to promote Bali and its people and culture to the international tourists. With the borders closed we are trying to promote Bali to encourage the tourists to return as soon as the borders open.
