Cutech 8" Jointer Follow Up - Addressing the Bed

If you have a Cutech 8" Jointer with the Teflon bed (40180HB-CT) - this video is for you! After using the jointer for a couple months, I address the issues I've been having with the teflon bed. The bed, although flat, was not smooth and boards did not glide across it easily while jointing, creating a lot of difficulty getting flat stock. I experimented with waxing the bed and ran a few tests - check out the video for the results.

Contrary to what I say in the video, the non-teflon bed is available on the website. To avoid the issues all together, the aluminum bed might be the best route:
