Ang Bayan ng Pakil - Ang Ating Turumba (6/7)

The culture and traditions of how Pakilenyos and people from other towns/pronvinces celebrate Pistang Lupi and Turumba Festival. From the preparations down to the Turumba procession, from 'Komedyas' to bringing home a little bit of Pakil souvenir.

A project of the newly formed Pakil Historical Council of Pakil Laguna, they collaborated with Pakil New Media to produce a 7-segment presentation in preparation for the 225th year of the Finding of Our Lady of Sorrows/de Turumba at the shores of Pakil and her 65th year coronation since 1953. The video was shown 3 times for 7 consecutive Sundays starting from July 28 to September 8. And has been replayed during Domingo de Dolor on September 15, before the procession of the Turumba. All historical facts has been checked, cross-referenced and consulted to proper authorities.

This is a collaborative effort of Pakil New Media, Parish Historical Council, Parish Pastoral Council, Pakil Cable International Company and the townspeople of our little humble town. Voiced Over by: Dr. Cyndee Fornoles
