Continuing our road trip, we spend a few days in the town of Cassino, in the Province of Frosinone. We visit my Dad’s childhood home, which currently sits abandoned. We view the Montecassino Abbey, from the ground, and take a tour of the La Rocca Pasta factory.
We were quite busy, as we visit many relatives in town for breakfast, lunches, coffee, and dinners.
Zeppole di San Giuseppe are an Italian sweet treat available only on and around March 19th, St. Joseph’s Day, Father’s Day.
