Yes, the all purpose (see: Guide Fly) BWO using EP Trigger Point fibers us a great fly to have in a few different colors and sizes but there is nothing quite like a BWO to get you though a question mark of a day. A pattern that closely resembles a comparadun...but replacing the deer hair.

Recipe -
Dry Fly Hook #16 - (We like TMC 100 and variants)
EP Trigger Point - (color - BWO)
Fly Master 6/0 - (light or dark olive)
EP Fiber as tailing fiber - (we use the more traditional color in grey but rusty colors could look nice as a shuck too)
Superfine Dubbing - (Superfine in any variant of olive: lt olive dun, medium dun, dark - just remember most colors will darken up when wet. You could also sub for beaver for a natural fiber add-on)
