This is my first-ever vlog, and it definitely shows—I’m much more used to taking photos when I travel. I also made the mistake of bringing the heavy Sigma 24–70 f/2.8 as my main walk-around lens, which really slowed me down and made me too lazy to take more video footage. Hopefully, I can do better next time with lighter gear.
For what it is, this vlog is simply my personal documentation. I still hope you enjoy it.
This was also my first time visiting Japan, so I tried to cover as many places as possible. I went with my wife, Zi, and my friend, Gia, to Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, and Tokyo. We visited Osaka Castle, Universal Studios Japan, Nijo Castle, Fushimi Inari, Kyoto Imperial Palace, Arashiyama, Nagoya Castle, Ghibli Park, Asakusa, Akihabara, and more. I didn’t get to explore Tokyo much since we were only there for two days.
I definitely want to come back and explore Japan again in the future.
