Tools required:
• Wood router
• Scissors
• Tape measure
• Scribe
• Spirit level
• Solvent resistant paintbrush
• Silicone roller
• Penny roller
Materials required:
• Lead Flashing
• FlexiProof 6 inch Cured Cover Tape
• FlexiProof EPDM Primer
Things to be aware of:
• The prepared roof surface must be clean, dry, and free from dust and contaminants (bitumen, oil, etc).
• Be sure to route the roof deck edge to the required width and depth to correctly sink the lead flashing.
• Always use a solvent-resistant paintbrush to apply FlexiProof EPDM Primer.
• Make sure the primer is touch dry and still tacky before applying FlexiProof 6 Inch Cured Cover Tape.
• Use a silicone roller and a penny roller to apply pressure to - and fully activate - the cover tape for a strong and long-lasting bond.
