This GM truck was brought in for a fuel trim code. Had P0172 and P0175 in history. Freezeframe data shows both banks at minus 30% fuel trims when code set. Problem is the Alcohol content has been miscalculated. I believe this is due to the customer's refulling habits. We cannot buy E85 fuel anywhere near here so it should not be reading 70% Ethanol content. This is a common problem but as far as I know there is no way to manually reset it without a full feature scan tool.
