Eating OAXACAN STREET FOOD in huge TRADITIONAL market in OAXACA, Mexico | OCOTLAN MARKET food

Oaxaca is one of Mexico's culinary hotspots. The state's geography and indigenous cultures all play a part in its phenomenal food culture. In this Oaxaca food tour we're travelling an hour outside of Oaxaca city to Ocotlan de Morelos, which holds a traditional market day every Friday. People flood in from neighbouring villages and towns to trade, shop, eat and catch up with their neighbours. What we ate and where we ate it:

1. Empanada mole de amarillo
2. Barbacoa de chivo
3. Leche quemada con tuna nieves (burnt milk and tuna nieves)

All eaten at Ocotlan Market held every Friday. We caught a bus to Ocotlan for $25MXN each (one way) from the bus station in Oaxaca City. The address is: Autobuses Automorsa a Ocotlan, Bustamante 603, OAX_RE_BENITO JUAREZ, Centro, 68000 Oaxaca de Juárez, Oax. The same bus waits outside the market and leave throughout the day when full. The price is the same upon return to Oaxaca City.
