Elden Ring takes an interesting texture-first approach to its soundtrack, incorporating elements of horror and putting a fresh spin on familiar fantasy soundtrack beats. It's chaotic and dissonant in parts, and somber and intimate in others. With the release of Shadow of the Erdtree, I've been listening back to the Elden Ring OST and reading into all the lore to get a sense of how it plays in to the world building and the underlying story.

I wanted to put some of my favourite parts into a cello medley (it's been a while) to explore some of these textures and celebrate an innovative and underappreciated soundtrack. Thanks to my good friend Joel for the suggestion!
