In this webinar, firstly, Dr. Hiroki Nakamura provided an overview of JARI's Autonomous Driving Research Division, highlighting its key initiatives and contributions to the development of safe and reliable automated driving systems. He then introduced the SAKURA Project, which focuses on establishing a scenario-based safety evaluation methodology and its application.
Following this, Dr. Husam Alzamili introduced JARI's ongoing research in human factors, focusing on experimental techniques using driving simulators and data-driven analysis of driver behavior to better understand human interactions with automated systems.
