Ẹkáàbọ̀ sí ìkọ̀nì - You're welcome back to my channel, Yorùbá Gbòde. In previous videos, we have looked at the Yoruba alphabets - Álífábẹ́tì Èdè Yorùbá. In this video, we will be looking at the Yoruba language vowels | Faweli Ede Yoruba.
Just like the English alphabets, the Yoruba alphabets can be divided into two major parts, the vowels called Faweli and the consonants called konsonanti. Ní èdè Yorùbá - in the Yoruba language, there are 7 major vowel sounds in the Yoruba language.
Awon faweli won yi - these vowels of the Yoruba alphabets are combined with the Yoruba consonants - konsonanti ede Yoruba, to create words that are used in the Yoruba language.
Faweli ede Yoruba - the Yoruba language Vowels include the following letters of the alphabets: a, e, ẹ, i, o, ọ u. For easier identification, the Yoruba vowels are the letters with red circles.
For a better understanding of faweli ede Yoruba, be sure to check out my previous lessons on alifabeti ede Yoruba - the Yoruba alphabet.
