I have spent years wishing I could use an amp like the Orange AD30 in a live context. This amp came up recently at a small local shop and thankfully I had the means to pick it up. I later found that it worked very well in a worship context. We had to capture this amp. Our new approach to the Quad Cortex is to offer amp captures as flavors to add to existing presets. Each of our presets can be considered a base tone pallete that you can augment with different amplifier and overdrive captures. It’s a great way to customize your sound and make it work with different guitars.
What we also found in making these captures is they would work great for the Nano Cortex. You can load in different stages of gain into 4 slots on the Nano cortex and you now have 4 stages of gain that come straight from amp overdrive.
