Alley Cat (Schwarzer Kater Stanislaus)

Ich hatte letzte Woche mal versucht den kompletten Sound einer schönen alten „Drahtkommode“ , also einem etwas schräg verstimmten Klavier, als Solo Instrument hin zu bekommen. Als Titel fiel mir dazu „Alley CAT“ ein ( deutscher Titel: schwarzer Kater Stanislaus).
Da ich nur Autodidakt bin und kein gelernter Pianist , habe ich das ganze etwas Orgel typisch umgesetzt, also Grundbass auf dem Pedal und den Nachschlag auf dem UM. Dazu nur noch etwas Schlagzeug. Und ich muss sagen, selbst als „Klavier“ macht die Sempra eine gute Figur und ist durchaus hörenswert!Das sind
Um den wunderbaren Klang der Böhm Sempra richtig zu genießen sollte das Video nicht über Handy oder Tablet Lautsprecher sondern über eine vernünftige Anlage oder gute Kopf/Ohrhörer angehört werden.

Last week, I tried to get the complete sound of a beautiful old ‘wire chest’, i.e. a slightly out-of-tune piano, to work as a solo instrument. The title that came to mind was ‘Alley CAT’ (German title: schwarzer Kater Stanislaus).
Since I am self-taught and not a trained pianist, I implemented the whole thing in a somewhat organ-like manner, i.e. bass notes on the pedal and the follow-up on the UM. I added just a little percussion. And I have to say, even as a ‘piano’, the Sempra cuts a fine figure and is definitely worth listening to!
To really enjoy the wonderful sound of the Böhm Sempra, the video should not be listened to on a mobile phone or tablet speaker, but on a decent sound system or good headphones/earphones.
