Govt. Polytechnic, Koderma, Gohal, Jainagar comes under Govt. polytechnic koderma, Bagitand. It was constructed in 2023 in which all the stuffs and other things shifted from Bagitand to Gohal. Now, this institute is under the Govt. of Jharkhand, Ranchi. This institute(Bagitand centre) was made exclusive for mining technician since 1958. Now it is imparting diploma in Mining Engineering, Drilling Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering. First session of Gohal polytechnic is already started i.e. 2024-27.
