Final track day of the year over at COTA with RideSmart. And to be honest, this one was an eye opener.
Conditions were far from ideal, as the weather played a factor throughout the day. The night prior with rain that dropped temperatures well around the low 40's. Also, cloud cover all day around made sure BOB wouldn't be able to shine thru. making track temperature and tire grip a bit of a problem.
Even so, I dared try to go around and get comfortable on track. And once I figured I was good to go, I decided to get evaluated to see if I could progress from Novice to Intermediate on the 5th session.
Long story short: Not only I passed my eval, I was also able to jump in the last session of the Intermediate class and get a taste of both classes. Conclusion: A whole different animal altogether.
