2023 Stumpjumpers Motorcycle Club Desert 100 Ironman Poker Run in Odessa, WA. April 1, 2023.
This year, I borrowed a buddy's 2001 KTM 300 EXC to give it a thorough shakedown to see how I like big bore 2 strokes. Lap 1 consisted of me getting used to the bike, and lap 2 was me being as familiar as I could possibly be with a platform that I have officially decided I don't like. I think I'm a thumper guy. Also, that thing was bucking me off like crazy. This suspension doesn't work for a 130lb guy like me. And it wasn't until afterwards that somebody asked if I adjusted the clickers on the suspension at all. ...oops. I completely forgot those existed. Still, pretty happy with my pace.
Maybe I should finally get around to racing next year...
