I definitely do have some friends with benefits and this episode is dedicated to them!
Wow - what an incredible opportunity to camp in such spectacular settings, from wild camping on a private farm in Hoedspruit to THE most incredible private camp set up in Nelspruit - I actually still can't believe how blessed we were!
Spectacular settings for sure, but the most beautiful part - the people! So thank you so much to Hentie van der Merwe and Jaco and Belinda Fivaz. If ever you do find yourself in the Hoedspruit area, the Ultimate Mango Shop on the Mohlatsi Farm has to be on your 'must visit come hungry' itinerary - you won't beat that picnic or the setting!
But I think the most important message and why I started Just To See How Far It Is, is to not only love local but to support it! The farmers, the small home industries, farm stalls and arts and crafters, the incredible eateries and some truly wild and wonderful accommodation options - we really do have the best of it in South Africa!
And thank you as always for the wonderful messages and for in turn, also supporting local by joining us on our adventures.
