🇸🇬 Is Singapore REALLY as good as everyone says? In this travel vlog, we share our honest first impressions of Singapore, exploring some of the city’s most iconic neighborhoods, incredible hawker centers, and must-see attractions. If you’re planning a trip and want to know what to see, do, and eat in Singapore, this video is a great place to start. We have a layover in Singapore that's just 24 hours long, but we're going to see as much as we can!
We began our Singapore adventure in Chinatown, wandering through the colorful streets, temples, and markets. From there, we headed over to Maxwell Food Centre, one of Singapore’s most famous hawker centers, to try dishes like Hainanese chicken rice and all the amazing street food Singapore is known for. Later, we made our way to Lau Pa Sat, another legendary hawker spot and had one of the best chicken dishes of our lives!
No first-time visit to Singapore would be complete without seeing Gardens by the Bay, so we checked out the Supertree Grove both during the day and at night. The OCBC Skyway gave us incredible panoramic views from above the Supertrees, and the nighttime light show was one of the most magical things we’ve seen while traveling. We also explored the vibrant district of Kampong Glam, home to great food, art, and culture.
We also got our first taste of navigating Singapore’s MRT/public transit system, which was surprisingly easy and efficient. This vlog includes our real reactions, honest thoughts, and a look at some of the best places to visit on your first trip, whether that's for a few days or just a layover.
