The power supply that came with the 1764 REU (RAM Expansion Unit) for the C64 is identical to the PSU that shipped with the C128. In this video, I do a teardown & maintenance on the C64 PSU, and look at some pictures of 128 PSUs that suffered damage due to corrosive glue.
