DIY Eberspacher D4WS (VW T4) Heater Diagnostics with KKL OBD2 Cable

For my VW T4 I got a replacement Eberspacher D4WS from a junkyard (the old one was so corroded I failed to even take it apart); and I wanted to check if there are not some fault codes on its ECU, this is how I did it.
I used regular cheap KKL cable from AliExpress with RT232RL chip (CH430 might work also but doesn't allow to set low latency) and free VCDS Lite did the trick. (The errors shown are just from the ECU being disconnected from the heater and car).
