The Puyallup Tribal Language Program presents our Lushootseed storytelling night through acting, song and dance. December 2022, we presented “Blue Jay and his Grandmother” told by Annie Jack Daniels, Muckleshoot Tribe.
Puyallup Tribal member, Issiah Kalama brought out his song to the Puyallup Tribal Community this evening followed by a giveaway.
SONG AND DANCE PROTOCOL
The Puyallup Tribal Language Program has been given permission to sing these songs. These songs and dances have been shared by the originators to uplift the Native community. Permission from the originator of each song must be acquired before singing these songs outside of the Puyallup Tribal community.
